Ownership
All item(s) and equipment hired by the hirer is, and will remain, in the complete and sole ownership of the supplier Crates 2 Move. No item(s) or equipment can be transferred, offered for sale or hired, or sold in any circumstances from the hirer.
Hire Terms and Conditions
The supplier must collect all item(s) and equipment hired by the hirer on the due date. Extensions must be authorised prior to the collection date by giving at least 48 hours notice to Crates 2 Move by email or telephone.
If the hirer or an external removal company loses, steals or damages a crate or moving dolly, Crates 2 Move will charge the hirer a fee as a replacement cost as detailed below:
$20.00 per crate
$20.00 per moving dolly
CRATES HANDLING & CARE
Please take the time to read and comply with these guidelines.
HANDLING
Don't sit or stand on lids
Don't rest crates on their sides or up-side down
Don't fill crates with dangerous, hazardous goods or liquids e.g. acids, solvents, paints, oils or fuels
Don't write on crates - please use labels supplied
Don't force the lids closed, make sure teeth interlock and fold them down gently
Don't store hire equipment in uncovered/unprotected areas or in direct sunlight for
prolonged periods of time
LOADING CAPACITY
Crates are rated to hold up to 35 kg. Occupational Health & Safety regulations recommend 25 kg.
Please don't overfill crates - lids should close easily and must never be forced down.
STACKING & NESTING
Full crates: stack maximum 4 high
Empty crates: open lids and carefully nest into each other - up to 15 high
RETURN OF CRATES
Please return crates in the same condition you received them.
Before returning crates please make sure that:
All labels are removed
All crates are dry, empty and clean (free of stains, smears, liquids or rubbish)
A fee of $2.50 per crate will be applied, should cleaning be required
